Some reasons why I abandoned anarchism...

  1. Anarchism, as a modern movement, is DOMINATED by the Left.
  2. Anarchism, as a social movement, is irrelevant and powerless.
  3. Anarchism, as a philosophy, is way too rigid and has too many rules.
  4. Anarchism might have been much more relevant in the 19th century.
  5. Consistent anarchists are extremely hard to come by.
  6. Hierarchical authority is not offensive in itself.
  7. I do not adhere to ultra-egalitarianism.
  8. The various strains of self-identified anarchism seem to be strangled by their own ideologies, their own theories, their own languages, and their own delusions which all contradict actually-existing reality.
  9. There are so many different types of anarchism which are often mutually-exclusive.
  10. The overwhelming majority of anarchists do not know what it takes to bring their vision into reality.
There are probably many more reasons but I will stop the list here.
